BULLYING: A social problem on the rise

Bullying is a serious social issue that affects countless young people in schools every day. Clearly, some action must be taken to restrict it.

One important cause of bullying is the fact that more and more children and teenagers do not get the attention that they need at home. As a result, they suffer from low self-esteem and bully others in an attempt to make themselves feel more important or powerful. This of course is really unpleasant for those who are being bullied. They may suffer from headaches or stomachaches due to anxiety, for example or their grades may fall because of lack of concentration. Furthermore, the problem is worsened by the fact that victims of bullying are often reluctant to ask for help.

One possible solution is to encourage those being bullied to talk to someone in authority, or even call a helpline if they would rather talk to a person they do not know.

This may not provide an immediate solution to their problem, but it would give them support and perhaps even give them confidence to stand up to the bullies.

Additionally, victims of bullying should try to avoid situations where they are alone with the bully or group of bullies, in the schoolyard for instance. They should also try not to show fear when the bullies confront them. By doing this, they will take away the bullies’ power and opportunity to cause distress.

To sum up, bullying is a very serious problem, but I strongly believe that there are steps that victims can take in order to defend themselves. There is no reason why bullies should be allowed to carry on causing so much misery to others.

Bullying: A problem on the rise

Bullying is not a new social issue. However, it is now more evident than ever before. The incidents that are related to bullying are increasing more and more. With this problem on the rise, three questions are raised: what causes it, what are the effects and how to stop it.

There are lots of causes of bullying, but the main cause is violent parents. There are many of them who do not treat their children well and often hit them. In some cases, things can be even worse. This violent environment the children live in results in the children also becoming violent. As a result, these violent children are satisfied by acting similarly towards their classmates.

Another cause of bullying is the fact that little is being done by educational institutions to prevent it. Teachers in schools know little about how to stabilize a bullying case and little do the students know about what to do as well. As a result, when a bullying case occurs, no one knows what to do.

However, there is still time to stop the rise of this problem. There are lots of things that can be done. Firstly, parents must learn to treat their children properly, so that the children will not become bullies. Secondly, teachers must learn more about bullying so that they can control situations. Finally, all students must raise awareness about bullying so that they will know what to do.

In conclusion, while bullying is on the rise because of violent parents and ignorant people, there is a lot that can be done to prevent this. There is still time to eliminate this and all the students will live happily ever after.
